Support at West Ham

Why was it so shite?

Early kick off?
No alcohol in our bodies?
Shite game?

Why do u think it was shite?

a) we sold out
b) we outsang them (not difficult as apart from "bubbles" there were only about 10 of them singing)
c) enough alcohol - wetherspoons before game san mig 99p a bottle and full brekky for £3.50 - opened at 10am

take the blue titned glasses off mate, we were shite and got outsung by that little corner!
 
Was expecting a bit more from you. You usually have a quite vocal away support, but yesterday you were utterly awful. Wigan made more noise when they came to the Boleyn than you did and that's saying something.

To be fair your lot are normally much louder,The 12.30 kick off on a sunday is rubbish

Good luck for the rest of the season,would much rather see your lot get in the uefa than anyone else in that top ten
 
I must admit, the kick off time had a major influence on the atmosphere. Don't think we were too bad considering.

Same for yourselves, would much rather see City in the "Europa" league than a team like Wigan or Fulham.
 
half of those complaining about our support probably don't go to the games - double standards

I got to admit I had a little giggle when the hammers lot sang " theres only 4 of you singing"

the irony being only about 5 hammers fans were singing it

i for one thought the general atmosphere was shite, both them and us! i think the 12.30 kick off dint help cos i was ruined after gettin up at 5! those kick offs are always poor, just a bad time
 
Too many high expectations... people go to the game feeling too nervous, don't want to enjoy themselves.

Last 3 aways I've been to have been West Ham, Pompey and Stoke. Possibly the three worst in vocal support I've ever been to apart from Derby away last Jan.

As for the WHU fan...

Your little group in the corner were loud, but that was about it. Not saying we outsang you, because we clearly didn't. I was stood right at the back of the stand and I could hear what people in your end were shouting... This is how terrible our away support has become.
