Great gesture by Rangers

"Rangers Football Club has donated more than 1,200 tickets to members of the armed forces for its Champions League match against Unirea Urziceni at Ibrox.

The club made the gesture, worth about £50,000, after the Romanians decided not to take up their away allocation."

Would be great to see City make a similar gesture if Scunthorpe dont sell their allocation for the Carling Cup

Totally agree.
More places should put on this sort of thing for our servicemen, regardless of the reason they are in the news.
Good to see a few hundred at Wembley last night enjoying the occasion, and being in uniform in their own country without feeling they will be abused by any Tom Dick or Mohammed.

Scunthorpe will sell their tickets, I doubt it will be something City will be able to do anytime soon with pretty much all the league home games selling quickly. The game against Fulham would have been ideal for such a move.
