surely joe is better than benjani

Probably right there mate, but Ade is better than Jo and Benjani put together and we need to get him right and playing again ASAP.
The fact that City have a massive semi final on Weds night must have awaked Ade's natural playing instinct, I'm sure he wants to be involved in that, he's coming back on Sunday, does that confirm this?
 
I'd like to see Bojinov have another chance, but as already mentioned these players aren't here. Benjani is, and at least he tries, unlike Jo.

Exactly.

He's just coming back from a long injury lay off and he has done well - better than a lot of people are prepared to admit.

But hey, some City 'fans' just have to have a hate figure. They're completely lost without one.
 
There was already a thread after the derby talking shit about Benji, and I would have posted then, but it was right in the midst of the influx of postings following our win. He has had 3 excellent games previous to a poor one in the derby, but people just jump to conclusions and call for him to be out of the squad. You cannot say he is lazy OR a poor player based on 15 minutes of one game. and as I stated earlier, he had a few very good showings just before the derby. Give the guy a chance to find his form again. It has been how long since he has been featured in the side at all? Jo does not even feature for EVERTON, how would he even step foot on the training ground at City?

A few good showings? he was gash at Boro as were the full team. He had a good 1st half against Blackburn but then died off, he was gash against Everton when he got on as was the full team and he was non existant against Utd and i would definatly say he looks lazy. At the minute though we need him in the squad with all our injuries and just hope he gets a goal if he plays.
