Surprise clubs of the '13-'14 season?

I would go even further and say Swansea to challenge for fourth and Southampton to finish above Liverpool (7th and 8th).

Spurs to challenge for the title too. They've made a great signing in Paulinho and are just a top striker and left back away from arguably having the best starting XI in the Prem.

Southampton and Swansea are the two obvious choices based on signings made so far - certainly think that they both have a chance of finishing in the top eight.

At the other end of the table, it really wouldn't surprise me if all three promoted clubs went straight back down. I don't buy the Cardiff hype, and Palace and Hull need to strengthen dramatically.

I'd love Villa to start climbing. A young team, galvanised by surviving relegation, a year more experienced. It all depends on whether they invest the money they will get for Benteke though. He got almost all of their goals, it's pretty nailed on he won't stay so they need to spend wisely.

I think West Brom will do well again next season.

They were in the top half first half of last season, adding Anelka can only be a benefit.

If they end of signing Scotty from us too?
