To be honest they wont get O Neill. With the Blackburn job more than likely up for grabs sooner rather than later he will stick it out for this job or wait for Spurs job when Arry takes over at Engerland.

Alan Curbishley should be the man for this job. Out for way too long and has done wonders at Charlton and his time at the Hammers was cut short. If they still had Curbs the Hammers would still be in the premier league now as a top 10 team in my view.

O'Neill would have to logically choose Leicester over Blackburn. If he gets them up at the first attempt then they'll be swapping places next season. There's some ambition at Leicester.

He doesn't strike me as being the kind of Manager to turn his nose up at the Championship. Allardyce was prepared to drop down one level, too.

MON will never take the Blackburn job, the rumours are that he left Villa because the owner interfered/didn't give him backing. There is no way in hell that Venkys will be any different, and will most likely be worse with their insane expectations.

Although from the sound of it the Thai's at Leicester have grand expectations also.

He officially left Villa because of a disagreement regarding how much of the Milner fee he'd get to spend. The arrival of Bent in the transfer window then surprised me considering how much he cost.

O'Neill was heavily backed at Villa and spent a great deal of money.

The man makes a lot of money from getting sacked, tells you all you really need to know.

People fawn all over him on here but I remember our games under him. We were great.. for 70 minutes, then the complete and utter lack of fitness shone through and the players were dead on their feet for 20 minutes. He's better suited to international football where he doesn't have to worry about day to day training/coaching.
