We also saw Sven's abilities from July to the New Year. Some of us take a view on the season as a whole and make a judgement accordingly based on all facets of Svens tenure including the mess we were in at the start and the fact that Frank ran out of dosh in january.
Some people seemingly take the view that he should only be judged on the second half of the season and one match in particular.
And before anyone accuses me of doing the same with Hughes. Two points
1) I was sceptical of Hughes when he was appointed and made my mind up on 1st Sept namely Hughes to be dispensed with in the summer and a top class manager appointed in his place. I still hold that view because I have always felt that Hughes did not have the skills for the job with ADUG in charge.
2) Sven at no point ever had us in danger of relegation having had the foresight/ability to put enough points on the board to make any thoughts of relegation a distant memory. And boy do you know how good that felt?

I just dont know how you can say somthing like that, espeacially when sven got us into 9th & hughes has spent 80+ million improving that team. But were doing worse now than svens second half of last season. Surely to god after 80+ million spent we should be doing a bit better than last years second half performance.

He bought wank players at ridiculous prices & if it was not for those 1st 9 home games, we would have been relegated!! FACT!
Rome was not built in a day & its gonna take whoever time to rebuild the team.
I am sick of this anti hughes propoganda & sick of all this negativity.
We are shit & need to rebuild. We will get there but it will take time. We wont go down, but it will be one wank difficult season, the type of season that the blues that have cards in are used to - most of us anyway - glory hunters fuck off now
