I was listening to talk sport (sorry) and Svens right-hand man was on saying Svens sacking by Thaksin was outrageous and if he hadn't been given the push,we'd comfortably in the top4 now.What do you think?

I agree with you, especially about England, he had no plan B, which is why we went out of 3 major tournaments at the the quarter final stage, his negative tactics cost them. That and the fact he picked the England team depending on who was the biggest celebrity, Beckham was just undroppable, even for friendlies he gave Beckham 90 minutes, and Owen. Sven just never had the balls to drop Beckham, and it cost him.

No, you probably aren't a gimp, and for that i apologise. I just meant that the OP was reacting to a comment by someone formerly linked to our club, so in that sense its more relevant for discussion (and less relevant for being called a dick) than the numerous threads when david platt, paul merson, phil thompson or any other nomarks comment on City.

I do get, though, how you mean we should leave it in the past. Sven and Hughes and Mancini were/are all largely equal to me (i.e. imperfect managers with faults) but i'll always support the guy in the dugout.
