The only reason Villa are where they are now is because we gave them £100m to rebuild.

As a side, Villa fans are the most repulsive fans I've come across in my 35 years of supporting City. The way they acted after the League Cup final was a disgrace.

On the way out to the Etihad stop on the tram in May, 2022, they were really giving it the big one. Very, very full of themselves.
Apart from the fact that those ten minutes of end-of-match madness won us a league title, it was particularly gratifying that they also managed to deeply piss off perhaps the two most dislikable sets of supporters in the country.
A double whammy…

After the cup final one of them hit an 8 year old lad in the queue for the train. The rest were acting like animals, screaming abuse across the queues. A Villa lad in front of us got a load of shit from them and looked bemused, saying "I'm a Villa fan you idiots!" Also saw a family get chased into a hotel by about 5 of them. Utter scum
