It was something of a tension reliever, randomly screaming SWALES OUT for no reason before, during and after matches. I actually missed it when he finally fucked off.
Never had any real resentment to the individual, as a bloke i used to go to games with said, would you give up the best job in the world, just because you couldnt do it?
