I'll just give the History section of the forum a quick check.

In my head we went unbeaten to win the league and we mustve been unbeaten in the cups cos we did the treble. not sure of year...

Don't know I could check I suppose, but was thinking probably a champions league game myself.

We drew with Wolves in the cup and beat them on penalties so was classed as a draw.

I keep seeing this stat and it makes me wonder. How many did we win on the bounce to win the league last time? In my head it was at least 12 and more preferably 14

Just looked, 15 in a row in the league after the newcastle loss, but the tottenham away cl loss breaks the in all comps streak we had going

Twenty wins on the trot — 20! — in all competitions (League Cup and CL included) in 17-18.

If we consider purely PL matches: we pick it up at Bournemouth in August, when Raz scored that last gasp winner. From then until Boxing Day, when we drew at Palace (pretty sure that Ed saved a penalty right at the death) we won eighteen matches on the bounce.

Would play FFS as punishment for his non performance against the Dippers , apparently Swansea are going full strength so it should be a close game and they are playing well in the Championship , we might need some magic from the bench to win this.

It's crazy that it was only the Birmingham game that Bernardo broke his goal drought and started hitting form again.

That was 31 days ago. 31! We were 5th in the league.

Feels like half a season ago already.

I think this was just the league, we won 18 on the bounce in the league before the draw at Palace if I remember right. I’m sure we lost away to Shakhtar in the Champions League though

Correct, but prior to that we'd won 20 on the trot, all competitions included. I can never accept that any match is a draw if you win it on penalties. If that were so, then Brazil never won the World Cup in 94. They won the match and by virtue of it won the trophy. We won the match against Wolves — just not in normal time.
