Swansea (a) Post Match Thread

Well those who wanted it to go to the wire today got their wish.

Swansea were strolling it around today. Amazingly so were we.

Should have walked that game and got CL in style.

Now we give United hope. They will play 10 forwards and a goal keeper whenever it is rearranged.

19-0 is obviously absurd.

But if it was ever going to happen then you just know it would to us in this crazy season.

Abysmal to be frankly honest and I'm disgusted at what we saw for the majority of the 90 mins today.

Yes we got the desired result but if that's the best some of the players have then they are gone and rightly so.

Manager got the side and set up wrong and yet again, couldn't change it. He is gone, rightly so and even I'm thankful its over for him now.

Kun garbage and greedy, Kelechi poor again goal aside and at fault for their goal. 2 new full backs and CB's required as that 4 today are just not good enough and we need some serious upgrades in midfield.

Agreed with everything.

Especially on needing a huge upgrade on midfielders

Playing today like he's about to hand in a transfer request. Piss poor start to finish. We're being lead to believe we're going to be seeing a team developing next season, so he can fucking forget about doing nothing more than waltzing around near the box looking to get his golden boot.

I hope he's not untouchable, 4/10 for the season. Lost his bottle completely.

The only small snigger I can take from this is if United win against Bournemouth then we've beat them to 4th by GD, nice little reminder of the title winning season. But that snigger disappears when I look at the top of the table .

No point in over-analysing that performance as it just followed much of the same trend, same faults as much of this season. Suffice to say we staggered over the line from a game we should have been winning 4-0 at HT but through our own sloppiness and poor finishing. Thank God this league campaign is over. Too many players in that team are not as good as either they or we think.

Hope he didnt leave any of his tatical notes in his jacket pocket ........ Oh wait !!

Wow ..... even you have realised what we have been treated to this season is shite

On the positive ..... I can't see a performance like that from a Pep side! Enjoy the summer

Luckily the Bournemouth chairman is a city fan so 19 nil ain't gonna happen!

Managed the game perfectly when we went to 451. predictably. ...

See you in August... or next month on the transfer forum!

The lowest point since the take over 8 years ago , those 90 minutes summed up our season , terrible performance against a mid table reserve side , by some players who are well past their sell by date , and other players who basically couldnt give a flying f*ck , all managed by a yes man for the owners .If Pep turns this football club into title contenders next season , he will be considered the best manager on the planet.

Despite winning a trophy and reaching the CL semi finals, this match epitomised our season - start out very well and just faded into mediocrity, then into 'clinging on' mode.
Glad to see the back of it, but Pep's got some work to do.
My enthusiasm had been well and truly drained and needs recharging.

At what point were we clinging on today
