Swansea (a) pre-match thread

They don't have Sigurdsson anymore, so Swansea no threat as far as I'm concerned.
Could be a dominant 70% possession 0-1, or a dominant 70% possession, with a side dish of utter pasting 0-6.
Somewhere in the middle I think, dominant 70% possession 0-3 City

If they park the bus as expected, it'll be interesting to see what Pep does after he said he learned so much from the Southampton and West Ham games.

I suspect he won't be bold enough to start Aguero, Jesus, Sterling and Sané together, but he'll presumably go to it much earlier than before if we can make the breakthrough with just 3 of them.


Sterling hasn't scored in 3 games, Jesus hasn't scored in 6, Sané hasn't scored in 7 - nothing to get overly worried about just yet but it'd be great to see the kids scoring again and keep their momentum going.

For me this has now turned into our biggest game of the season and so i expect a very strong line up tonight, there is little point in beating the rags to then just throw points away against Swansea. I understand that we have Spurs at weekend but we will deal with that when it comes along.

I'd obviously take a 1-0 win every day of the week, but I can't help feeling that someone is due a walloping soon.
Would like to see us really smash a team that parks the bus (basically everybody aside Liverpool, spurs, arsenal and maybe Chelsea) and see how other teams them react.

I'll take 1-0 and no injuries,i don't think we will be back to smashing teams till march time when other teams have to gamble more as they need the points more then,so far every approach to stop us has failed but its up to us to keep going till the final whistle as it might take that long to get it done
