just a quick word. the club did turn the pa off straight after the preier league anthem up until kick off. thought noise was good 1st half considering lack of chances but 2nd half momentum went again with people not taking their seats until into the 2nd half

we did point out to the club that maybe social media encouraging people to take seats early before each half and to listen out for the PA would help , this is an ongoing discussion we are having with the club and hopefully there'll be more of the same before ajax

From where I am in 116 – looked like there were 3 stewards in each isle gesturing people to sit down for most of the 1st half. Why can’t they just leave it, they never get anywhere.

But you're right, they're fighting a losing battle in trying to get 109 onwards to sit. They're trying to stop it spreading into 107/108 but it's going to happen sooner or later.

Slightly off topic but personally i dont think our match day announcer does anything to get the mood going.
He has one of the dullest voices i've ever heard with his 'Come on City' at KO time.
I know people will say its down to the fans to make their own noise but a bit of upbeat music played loud before the game and an announcer with a bit of 'oomph' would get the adrenaline going whereas now for the majority of games the pre match build up is cringeworthy.
I'm all for ideas to improve things I just think that these groups would find it easier to get others involved if everyone was buzzing at kick off whereas all to often these days its like a wake come ko time

pa off as a result of fan requests but the idea was to get people in 10 mins early and turn off for 5 mins before teams came out, they turned off after teams came out, no-one suggested ditching bluemoon either

Really missed Blue Moon blasting out it certainly did not help the atmosphere, although once we kicked off there did seem to be slightly more singing than usual. Also does anyone know what has happened to the minutes from the last points of blue meeting, on the OS they are still for 27th march?

Thought the atmosphere was shocking on saturday to be honest very flat - was sat in the Colin Bell Second Tier towards the north stand and couldn't hear a thing, only the Swansea fans singing shall we sing a song for you for most of the first half. So much more the PA being off for ten minutes before kick off as posted on Fliers by the Blue Alliance.

Well this fan has emailed and requested it turned back on!! I was in 15 minutes before the teams came out and there was no Blue Moon so it was ditched!!
