@OptaJoe: 26 - Man City are the first side to score 26+ goals in their opening six top-flight home games since Sunderland (26) in 1935-36. Pedigree.

@OptaJoe: 29 - Man City have now scored 29 PL home goals this season, two more than any other side has in total. Bonanza.

The key is showing that in your away games. at home your awesome but away not so much

Just to say, you lot had better start fucking worrying when we do get it together away from home.
Which I think, is just around the corner ;-)

Stunning now to away goals :)

Away form is massive for you now. got to get going way from home if you want to stay in touch. home form is out of this world.

Just got home.

Another solid performance and a clean sheet.

Nasri is totally on blob at the moment.

Thought Swansea did ok first half but packed the midfield which gave them plenty of the ball.
Second half,we dominated.

Decided to treat myself and go to West Brom on Wednesday to hopefully see us pick up an away win.

Well done City and well done MP.

We got stronger and stronger as the game went on. Swansea were probably the better team in the 1st half. Passed it around very well and looked slick. Couple of good saves from Costel and the lack of a proper striker hurt them badly with that missed chance just before half time.

Glad to see we came out with more purpose and intent in the 2nd half and tbh by the end could have been 5 or 6 again. Nasri continues to impress and took his goals superbly. When Pelle moved him into the centre he and Yaya were devastating. Yaya was a passenger in the first half again but virtually everything he did in the second was pure class. Sometimes you forget just how good he is. When he wants to he can run the whole show. It wasn't Aguero's day today - still a threat but looking tired from the off. The Beast took his free kick brilliantly and worked hard for the team. Fernandinho again looked very assured.

A great second half display - clinical in attack and relatively tight at the back. Now onto those two tough away games.

I would worry more if you started winning three or four in row away. But untill then i am fine with where we are. its up to you lot to keep the pressure on us by doing the buisness in your next two away games. We been solid as a rock all season.

-- Sun Dec 01, 2013 8:08 pm --

Not great but enjoyable and a job well done.

Tough for Yaya and Fernandinho in the middle and I wonder if we can continue playing them in a two over a pretty busy schedule.
It can work but the trouble, today especially, is that they both joined the attacks and left a huge gap between midfield and the defence which we were lucky swansea didnt exploit better.

Away, we have to instruct fernandinho to stay deep and protect that space. Might be worth playing nasri in the forward AM role and a sergio up top on his own for the away games, which will also alleviate the pressure on fernandinho and yaya in a 2 man midfield. When silva is back he can play on the left.

Unlike Newcastle, United, Norwich and Spurs; Swansea played very well for large parts of the Match. We defended very well and as always at home our attacking performance was out of this world and we should really have had at least five.
