Swansea (QF) Post Match thread

We got bailed out by the referees massively there.

Nice to be on this side of it for once, and it's a great comeback, but we were really poor today, I expect Pep is going to tear a few people a new arsehole.

Well played Swansea, but class always comes through at the end. Brilliant subs with Aquero and Raz. Fuck off BT about the foul on Raz not being a pen and Aquero late winner, how many times do we not get decisions. One or two players understandably not up to speed due to lack of game time. Another Wembley trip onwards and upwards blues,

Very Lucky with the decisions but based on chances created we deserved the win. Sure the press will be all about cheating City.

I feel like The Dippers fan right now, but feck it for once...... :) :) :) We should be 6:2 up at least and Swans did deserve nothing, but congratulations for good effort.

Har har har no fucking var
fuck off rags and dippers-shame you voted against it

Over on the Caf they are in a meltdown about this but fail to grasp that we actually wanted VAR while their club fought against it.

Got to be honest after 60 mins thought it wasn't going to happen, this team never gives in, I love our club team players and Pep.

I hope Pep learns to play his best team from the start, score 1 or 2 goals and then take players off, not the other way round!

Mahrez was again very poor, far too predictable with going on his left foot and takes 3-4 touches before making a decision to pass the ball, so he just slows down any momentum in any attacks.

As for Delph, the less said about his pathetic tackle/lunge to give away the penalty, the better, I hope this is his last game for us, he's gone backwards massively all season, not just this one game.

Gundogan is no Fernandinho is all I can say, if he decides to leave, I won't be too concerned.

We were lucky today, with the penalty given to us and a goal that was offside, so we can't really criticize the referee today for being against us.

I can see why Swansea are struggling though, they play football that is probably too good for the division they're in. They look good passing it out from the back.

I saw Swansea at Leeds who were straight into the tackle once Celina or James got the ball. I thought those guys would cause us more trouble if we gave them time and space to play.
