Swansea (QF) Post Match thread

It’s marginal but BT behaved as if it was a blatant dive which it was not and you’d think Sergio was quarter of a furlong off-side the way they condemned him.
Yeah, thought their comments were a bit pathetic. Ok he just about touched the ball but it wasn’t the blatantly obvious penalty Hartson was saying. It certainly wasn’t a dive. And yes, Aguero was about a foot offside but in real time it wasn’t obvious. We were lucky but it’s a bit of karma that we voted for VAR and it wasn’t there. It will finish the night off nicely if United go out to a VAR decision in their game with them voting against it.

All I can say after that
WHAT a cup tie that was.
Brilliant from Swansea first half.
Couple of decisions may have gone our way second half - certainly not sure on the City penalty which was right in front of me.
Swansea fans I've talked too obviously gutted but taking it in the spirit of the game.
Loved it

Leroy is defo starting to worry me. He was very very poor tonight and not sure if he was injured or just not up for it.

Defensively poor in the first half with Delph being the main culprit, although Laporte wasn't far behind. Bernie MOTM again and obviously the substitutions made all the difference.
Anyway great result and onwards we go.

There is hair on fire all over Twitter, though. Hilarious.

Got a bit lucky and shouldn’t have to rely on Aguero and Sterling to get us out of the shit against a Championship side. Delphs challenge was ludicrous considering he has form for this level of stupidity. I doubt we will see him again this season after that.

Thank good for Aguero. Completely changed the game

The BBC reporting online is very fair. Sterling is a diver according to them.
Swansea should be applauded for the way they played.
Unfortunately for them, they gave a penalty away.
And it was a penalty,
I said on the match thread it had echoes of Schalke away when we were 2-0 down.

Delph a liability now, which is a shame given last season.

Mahrez waste of money.
Delph needs match fitness now, so until he gets that, he will be a liability.
So will de bruyne and the rest when they come back.
