Swansea (QF) Post Match thread

This sets up an epic Spring. Might still all end in tears, but it could be the most incredible season yet.

Just great to still be involved, as we will be, in three competions, having already won one, going into April. An incredible achievement.

Thought we were lucky with a number of the decisions tonight, but we’re due a bit of luck on that front.

Au contraire - a few decisions in our favor is exactly what a powerful cabal with a secret agenda would do to hide the fact that there's a powerful cabal with a secret agenda. Just proves it even more.

There is no end to this if you actually believe that. I'll rather stick with incompetent refereeing.

Poor first half although a number of chances created that another day we would have put away. Delphi very rusty, Otamendi and Laporte average by their standards, David not one of his better games and Mahrez was well, just Mahrez at the minute, struggling to settle in. We lacked pace going forwards, too pedestrian at times and too many sideways or backwards passes from Gundogan. Second half we picked up and the three subs made a huge difference. Although we got lucky with some of the decisions we were still by far the better team, creating chances with wave after wave of attacks. Let's take it on the chin, Lady Luck was with us today, about bloody time, and we'll move on after an outstanding 7 days. Having only got back from Swansea 30 mins ago, it's time for a kip so I bid you goodnight Blues.

Funny how dippers and rags moaning about our “easy” cup fixtures. Maybe if “big teams” were left we’d play them, but wtf can we do that they’ve been knocked out? Makes no sense.

Calm and articulate summary and you didn’t go to over the top about Delph and Mahrez either.

Unfortunately I have a book with details of all the FA finals and that year Bolton were the winners.
Lol
I’ve got a ticket from the game, don’t know why I thought we’d won.
Anyway, we needed 3 goals yesterday to beat a record of most goals in fa cup since, city in 1926.
Read that somewhere.

We got very lucky, never a pen and aguero was offside. But we were battering them after bernando scored even if the ref didn't give that "pen" I have no doubt we would have scored again in the 90 mins. Their keeper was outstanding but the match was only going to end one way they were penned in their own box and were knackered. We deserved the win. As for the refs mistakes it's swings and roundabouts.
