I think Fowler was in his late 20's or very early 30's when he came.

Some good calls of Jobson, Bernarbia, Pearce and Gidman - I'll throw in Peter Reid too.
Fowler was only 28, but factoring in he was a fat alcy fucker, we should keep him in the thread.
 
Definately Tony Book. I never could understand why he made that team tick, maybe it was his influence as Captain, but whenever he didn't play we always looked dis-organised. In later years Viera has been a great influence on the football club.
