Swindon away help? West Ham at home? Result? First game(s)

Just hit me that I can't remember the result of my first game! All I know is that it was Swindon away and Goater was playing (remember getting moaned at by some woman for sitting on my dads shoulders singing 'feed the goat' so she made us swap seats with her). We won it. Don't know what year it was but we scored a few goals, don't know about them.

Also if anyone knows any West Ham results around the same time at home? We won that heavily aswell because I remember my dads mate saying 'Bloody hell, he'll think we'll play like that all the time after the Swindon game and today' (I got a bit of a shock!!!).

Think it was around the time of the Brother/Eidos kit... late 90s?

yeah im like that. i always remember songs that were played at matches or banter. never the games. i remember in this one the swindon fans were chanting your shit and you know you are. we were 2nd and they bottom by some distance. was pretty funny.

T'was indeed 98/99. I remember it well as my son was the mascot - for Swindon! The Swindon folk couldn't understand the mascot's dad jumping up and down on the peri-track each time we scored!! :-)
