Good shout, those two would at the very least give us some strength in depth, they would without question be an improvement on our current fringe players i.e Vassell and co.

Mid- Long term we need good back up for SWP, if we buy a class right winger now would he be happy to play second fiddle to SWP when he gets fits? A back up right winger IMO could be a young player e.g. Weiss, Logan or Etuhu, or a older player reaching the end of his career (similar to Hamamn was in the middle) I would give one of the youngsters a try now! Got to be better than Mr Vassell (as nice guy that he is) or someone like Fernandes having to be moved out there!
If you the youngsters are tried now they will also have the Heart and Desire to do well something that is badly lacking now!

I think that is a cracking idea - decent young player, good pace and he was excellent against blackburn.
i'd play zabelata right mid, with richards RB til swp comes back. don't forget when he gets a game elano plays a lot for brazil right mid also. anyone but vassell but i think its nailed on vass is playing there next 5 weeks. hughes has been dying to get hm back in the starting 11 and heres his chance.

Sensible thing to do is put Robinho on the right if we cannot sign anyone immediately.
For the left hand-side of Midfield I would go with Garrido, Wayne Bridge can show him how to defend and if Wayne overlaps Garrido knows how to cover LB. Shores up the left hand-side.
Personally we should go all out to get Walcott, or Liverpools Pennant if Arsenal wont take £xxm
