Have to agree with the OP, barring the first few months after his comeback, he hasnt been the same player. People can say, well he scores goals, and he might make an assist, but the old Shaun used to be able to run at players and destroy them, had a bagful of tricks and had the lot basically. This season however he's been poor imo. At the Palace game, people said he was our man of the match, but apart from that goal, he was shocking. Yesterday, yes he scored, but was awful. He's been like this all season, and was also like this from about February to the end of last season. I would seriously start Weiss for the Arse and Chelski games. Despite the fact that people will say he's too young and isnt upto it, thats bullshit, he's already a full international (and yes, i know, his dads manager but so what) and for me could be THE next big thing. Weiss for me looks like Shaun did when he started off 8/9 years under Royle and Keegan but better. Hughes-less is too inept and gutless to make changes, but hopefully if and when a new manager comes in, they'll have the balls to make changes. I hate to say all this about SWP, but it has to be said.
