We live not far way from there and it's one of the walks that my wife and I do along Hadrian's Wall, like many fellow walkers.
It's a sad reflection on today's society that some brain dead low life can take so much pleasure away from so many other people - and for what ? I'm by no means a tree-hugger but I'm gutted that such an iconic symbol of the countryside has gone.
