Sylvinho Unsure Over Future

Had by doubts when I first saw him but quite impressed when he comes on late in a game be it midfield or defence he just brings that calm, intelligence and assurance to the team.

Keep him on be useful to have around.

What do you reckon for the Silver Fox? Let him go? Give him another year? Make him a coach?

I reckon he's got one more year in those old legs yet. Decent squad cover. Just not against Spurs...
Get him on the coaching staff,he can take his badges during the 1yrs extension he gets.

There is no guarantee he will make a great coach. Being a nice guy and experienced are not useful barometers for success. If he has something to offer, be it in a playing or coaching capacity, he will be kept on. If he doesn't, then he will be shipped out.

A hugely sensible post.

You can tell we've won well when posters are casually creating "jobs for the boys" just because he's got grey hair and scored a great free kick.

He gets a coach's job if he's the best on the market. If not it's bye bye I'm afraid.

Can't waste a squad number on him afraid.

If the rules hadn't changed, I'd have given him a year, but we have only 25 places for players over the age of 21, so he will have to go for me.

Good player - but lacks the pace required for the Prem. He will leave as he is not good enough to get us where we want to go next year - top 3!
