Fellow Bluemooners

I have decided to participate in a charity event to help raise money for the Everyman Campaign which helps to fund research into Prostate and Testicular Cancers. How am I aiming to raise money I hear you ask?

Am I going to put myself through a physically punnishing iron man event?
Am I going to embark on a feat of mental endurance?
Am I going to build the worlds biggest house of Cards?

The answer to all of these questions is No. I am growing a moustache as apart of Everyman's <a class="postlink" href="http://www.everyman-campaign.org/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" target="_blank">http://www.everyman-campaign.org/</a> TacheBack 2008 campaign <a class="postlink" href="http://www.tacheback.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" target="_blank">http://www.tacheback.com/</a> where groups of men up and down the UK are growing moustches to help raise funds and awareness for the Everyman campaign.

Think it's a seperate thing. TacheBack is a bit more UK specific. Both good causes though.

I did Movember last year, i looked like a sexual predator after 2 weeks....never got the full tash :(

However, I can't help thinking it was a bizarre decision to totally copy a fund raising idea for a similar cause.
There is a UK branch to Movember and I wonder if it has left a bad taste in their mouth.
Regardless of my whinge, lots of cash will be raised for very good causes.

Good luck mate, being slightly drunk i'll admit i can't really afford to donate anything just now, as bad as it makes me feel (spending money on alcohol rather than charity) but it's a great cause and i'm sure i speak for everyone on Bluemoon in saying that we want pics!
