I think his praising off the Rapist was more to hide the fact that he's been absolute shit for the last ten games.

Ferdinand's on his way out, Giggs on his way out, Vidic can't play a full season, Rooney I doubt will ever be the player he was, The Rapist can he repeat this season again, then they've got Phil 'the face' Jones, Danny Wellshit, Young, Zidane Cleverley and I just don't know if they can repeat this season's results again. They're gonna need a few big name players.

For me Van Persie struggled , and Rooney was next to useless .....

but Kompany and Nastasic allowed them little space all night ....

Jones was their best player by a mile.

Brilliantly summised. I concur. This is their last Championship for the foreseeable.
there is absolutely no re-sale value in any of their 'stars' and they have no youth coming through.
They might get a new striker when they sell the naming rights to the swamp.

The thing with Van Persie is people were asking if he could repeat his final season with Arsenal. At the moment he looks on course not too, despite a very good start, and people forget that even in that brilliant season with Arsenal he had the same end of season cliff that he's having now. He could well never even match this season again, let alone last, and he's on those wages for the next few years unless someone takes him off their hands. He may not be picking up the injuries, but he's looking hugely less effective as the season goes on. Id still never swap their squad for ours in a million years.

Van Persie was a huge last hurrah gamble to wrestle the title back this year at all costs, and it worked (annoyingly very well). But the hand has been played. Its not going to happen again.

He knows bar the free kick for Vinnies OG, Van Persie did very little.
 
On a night that has provided so much happiness his reaction really grates me, as does Rooney's two footed tackle, Rooney's petulance and swearing at officials and no condemnation of punditry, Manure playing their horrible brand of kick and hope football and getting a goal off a shoulder for it, Barry getting a card when Family guy and Camel Gob should've got one too, Sky trying to tell us it matters not the title is won tonight was insignificant, grrrrr....

Tell you what though, Rooney is done at top level, they've ruined RVP, they're capable of bottling this one too and even if they don't would I swap circumstances, would I f@ck!

To some extent he(slur Alex) is right,theydid play well, but they cannot play any better.we we were. still better than them and we can still play alot better we shit all over them.
