Take a draw Sunday?

I want the win. Open up a 5 point gap on them and get the fuckers buckling.

We must not make the mistake of paying them too much respect.

Would take a draw depending on the game. If we smash the fuckers but can't find the net ill be dissapointed not to come away with a win. Most annoying part for me is if we do win there is no college next week to abuse the rags no end, saying that it could also be a good thing.

I would take the draw now,but believe this team can get at them and win,IF we can control the middle and flanks, while pushing forward at speed..
Would love to see a goal apiece from Aguero,Nasri,Balotelli and David,or am I being greedy ?

Love your enthusiasm mate but a dose of realism and restraint is required, we will become the "real deal" but we aren't the finished article........not just yet.

Evening 'NCEFE', I truly do believe we are 'the real deal'.
For the first time in my long life of being a Blue I believe we will conquer/dominate Englands 'elite'. But I agree that we aren't the finished article yet - quite frightening really, but we will be in the not too distant future. I'm so tired of having to 'cower' in the nasty shadow of our arrogant neighbors. As for restraining my enthusiasm, no chance. Sorry.[/quote]
No need to apologise mate, I share your vision which I'm sure will happen in the not too distant future. Them Bastards down the road are hanging on by their fingertips and I just can't wait till we come along and stand on them. Hope it starts Sunday.

To my mind Sunday is about a great deal more than the three points available.

A win will enable us to put a stake in the ground, no doubt.

A win in style, however, on their turf, with the eyes of the world watching, would be an opportunity to seize the initiative off united and I don't mean just in terms of this season.

I want Mancini to play Silva, Aguero, Nasri and Balo - with Nige and Yaya holding. And to go for a win - a big one if possible.

It is not a strategy without risk, but I believe the time has come for us to view a trip to Old Trafford as an opportunity to put our foot on their throat, rather than operate a smash and grab.

The prize is so great, so enticing, that it's a risk worth taking.

Sunday could be the day we finally earn the respect from the rest of football that this wonderful club and its wonderful fans properly deserve.

Go for it Roberto, stick it to 'em.

Yes, anybody saying they wouldn't is silly.
People go on about how shit they are, what does that make us? Two points better than shit. Still a top team who haven't NOT won at home in a very long time. A draw would do me nicely then go at them at Eastlands.

Grafters! that's what it makes us. They (scum) play teams that roll over, they get outrageous refereeing decisions and so it's no wonder the fuckers stay at the top.

We have to work for every point and in most cases against insurmountable odds!

They're lucky bastards we're grafters. Our manager's far classier too!

All that is out the window on sunday, we just need to play our football and not think they are something they aren't or rely on getting good decisions or anything like that. On paper we have the strongest team but we still have to play as a team and put the ball in the net, that's all that matters in a derby.

Nicely put GDM. Like the bit about 'put our foot on their throat'. A slow painful death sounds quite appealing. They are going to get a shock on Sunday....i can just feel it
