Very strange comment seeing as though one of the main people organising it is black. White, black, yellow, orange, pink, brown. Who gives a fuck? We're proud Mancunians and don't want to see any of this shit happening to our City.

And since when did colour have anything whatsoever to do with racism?
The EDL have black members,apparently.
I don't want to see Manchester torn apart by a bunch of looting scallies either.
But I just don't think that a bunch of wannabe Rambo's full of Stella is a meaningful solution to the current problems.

So what would you suggest then? The police can't handle it. Do you live in the centre of Manchester(like me) and have to put up with the shit these little fuckers were doing to people and buildings? And the majority were white by the way. This has nothing to do with racism at all so please don't bring that into it. It seemed to work in London so let's see what happens here.

I don't claim to have all the solutions,mate - I wish I did.
My concern is that some elements of the far right will use this as a platform to promote their own agendas,because that is what happened with the 1981 riots.
And,much as I understand and share your concerns regarding the destruction of Manchester,I don't think that a combination of alcohol and armed vigilantes is the answer.
You clearly do,so I think it best to agree to disagree on this one.

Well I intend to smash anyone with a hood and that looks dodgy. The police have warned them that they shouldn't be out on the streets. By being there, even as observers they are ignoring the police and deserve everything that they've got coming to them.
