Taking our Owners for Granted!

Anyone inclined to question our owners should check out the serialisation of Ancellotti's autobiography in the Times. It makes interesting observations about Abramovic's rather hands-on style of ownership including sacking Ray Wilkins without Ancellotti's knowledge which upset some of the players and addressing the players before a Champions League tie telling them that they had to win or there would be huge changes to the team. Not good. Incidentally, Bale also seems to be a player to steer clear of.

The notion of salami slicing our criticisms is wide of the mark. When the other Sheikhs are taking the piss out of Mansour for a £60m expansion when season card holders leave seats empty, our Sheikh will see this as a personal criticism because pride is extremely important in Arabia!

Perhaps he will get onto his management team and ask what they can do better to make sure there is a packed stadium every week.

He may well ask his management team Moomba who may report that the answer is more tourists, rather than cheaper tickets for self-entitled fans!

Fully employed thanks....making strange analogies is a part time thing with me....like blowing smoke up the directors arses is a hobby for others.

Thanks manctheknife. I've got a great amount of respect for our Owner and how he has changed many of our lives for the better. Being brought up in Stretford, it was a daily battle throughout our many years without success. I've enjoyed this season too and we had a good party in Swansea to see the season out!

They may well report that. Which is why it is important for us the supporters to be willing to criticise when decisions made by the club aren't in our or the clubs best interests.

We cant expect the club to know what we want if we're not prepared to tell them.

Yes Moomba, it is fair to criticise in such cases but this forum seems to favour negativity!

Forums usually do. People don't discuss positives anywhere near as much as they do negatives. When you're happy with something you're usually content and don't feel the need to share concerns over it with others.

I find it a bit 'convenient' the way the fans buggering off is now being put forward as some form of organised protest - I don't think so.

I bet some that are suggesting that weren't even there

It wasn't an organised protest as no one organised it. But it was a collective protest or, to be more accurate, a collective expression of discontent.
