Mancini has got previous for taking him off for a 'rest'. I understand how hard Tevez works and that he does more work in 60min than most players do in 3weeks. I just wanted him to play the full 90 mins and possibly get a hat trick.
You can bookmark this page all you want and if I'm incorrect then I shall hold my hands up so you can get your 'i told you so' out of the way. I forgot that this was a fans forum where people have their own opinions.

You still haven't said who will play up front on Tuesday after saying Tevez won't start.

Oh the stupidity of this thread !!!!

If it was me in that position, I'd be happy to come off with 10 mins to spare and start the next match rather than playing the full match and then sitting on the bench in mid-week.
We want to win the FA Cup and starting with Jo up top isn't the right way to go about it.

he can't win really.
nevilletogoater-in said:I agree with the OP. Tevez was on a hat trick all this bollocks about we play Leicester through the week is shite as tevez won't even start.
I think it's ridiculous that our best player (by a fucking country mile) is either the most or 2nd most substituted player in the league.

Another non understander of the benefits of squad rotation !!

I'm all for squad rotation and frankly you questioning my understanding of it is laughable. Can you explain why he's one of the most substituted in the league? It's virtually every game he plays he gets taken off. Why doesn't he give the same courtesy to say someone like Yaya Toure or De Jong who in my opinion are just as precious albeit in different positions.

Wow even a 'City Fan' has fallen for the media snipping. Tevez is the most subbed player, blah blah blah. Tevez has played more minutes than any top striker in the league.
With Balotelli out, Dzeko just joining Tevez is very very important.
You ask about De Jong? Who brings off a holding midfielder when they are winning? Only an idiot would suggest that. As for Ya Ya, name another player in City's squad more likely to expose a team on the break with a charge from midfield in the later stages.
Tevez's game is based on energy, passion, strength and skill, his body takes a lot of punishment in a game, if the game is won get him off. I would and I guess most would be pretty pissed off if Tevez were to get injured in the last 5 minutes when we are 4-1 up.
Couple that with a game tonight, I know he may not start but he will be on the bench and he is are only eligible front line striker.
nevilletogoater you really need to change your outlook, you are by no means looking at the bigger picture.
Do you think Tevez being subbed a lot towards the end of dead rubber games and the fact that he spends less time out injured than Rooney, RVP, Drogbha, Torres, Berbatov or any other top line forward in purely coincidental?
