This is a bit worrying.

The mail doing what it does best. Fail. The lad couldn't get a work permit.

Carry on with your vendetta you rag piece of shit.
Which is what they have said.

'And now in a further blow to the club’s academy, City have been forced to allow Marin to move on, with the club unable to secure a work permit'.
But it's not "a blow", it's not even a dent. I'm sure the academy can recover from this.

He could go on to be a world star, who knows? In that sense it would be a blow, and maybe the coaches see it as such.

Your usual response.

Pige, on the face of it, do you not think the story is a tad sensationalised? If we look at the facts:

Suarez - not getting game time, is Spanish, gets to return home and not only that gets to go to one of the biggest clubs in the world. Not really much we can do about that so we can probably chalk that one off, plus if it works out for him, we stand to pick up £8m.

Marin - couldn't get a work permit over here for him, so tough shit, we can't keep him. He's gone on a free, but I'd be amazed if we've not secured some kind of agreement with Juve.

Fernando - clearly the kid weighed up his options and decided he doesn't fancy us; shit happens, we can't pick up everyone.

Is it really a "talent drain"? Sure if we had lost Guidetti, Lopes, Pozo and maybe four or five others, then you'd probably have a story, but 3 youth players? Hardly worth the headline in my opinion.

Course it is, but then again so is any story, and the headline is attention-grabbing, like a headline should be. Maybe though they are saying that we have all these plans for the future, Etihad-Campus etc etc, but 3 promising youngsters have left already, for whatever reason they have for leaving. It's neither pro or negative City, and in the case of Marin it clearly states the reasons he can't stay.
