Someone bought me 'The Spirit of Eden' on vinyl only last year, and its the best bit of vinyl I've listened to in the last 10 years - stunning stuff (just being lazy now and listening to it on Spotify).
 
The suite of albums from The Colour of Spring, through Spirit of Eden and Laughing Stock to Mark Hollis' solo album, is simply sublime. Like Japan, to start in pop and end up where they did, shows the talent of the band.
