Just heard saggers talking about us now ruining the championship. Loan deals were made for young players to gain experience, not for 31 year olds!

Manchester city, not just ruining the premiership, but the championship also. Any ideas on how to ruin non league, should be sent to:

Used to like Saggers when on 5live. He moved to talkshite for the money obviously and now talks shite. Oh the irony.

They have got Pleat on 5live at the moment too. No need to tell you the bile he is coming out with.

It is fantastic IMO that they cant stop talking about us. Shit scared, bitter and jealous the lot of them. LOVING IT.

i wish we would sue the tits off all these media outlets who are bad mouthing us at every oppertunity

OK, it's clear he said it out of pure bitterness and fear, but even ignoring those emotions, his point of view shows such a lack of understanding of the current financial climate it's unreal. Very few teams have the money to buy players, particularly one who is already on a large wage. Therefore loans are more popular than ever for players of all ages, not just kids. Secondly, there's this small matter of the new squad quota. If a player is not in the 25, and Bellamy wasn't, then he's not going to sit around playing reserve team football is he? Combine this with the point i just made regarding clubs being skint, and it's not difficult to understand why a loan move was the most likely outcome. But i guess saying "City are ruining football" does not require the individual to possess any intelligence and is therefore easier for him.

This is the 4th time i've asked a Blue on here this question. I hope you can answer it.
What the fuck do you want to sue them for? Slander? Lies? Them just doing their job? Us being talked about too much? What legal basis is it you want us to sue them for?

Like the poster before me just said, I give up too. Why is it bothering you all that much what these people are saying? Did you really expect they'd just happily talk about other regular things in the league whilst we're splashing over 100m on players? When we decided to loan Bellamy, (one of last seasons best players in the entire English league), to Cardiff in the 2nd division, did you think the press would just clap and say 'bravo Man City, bravfuckingo'. We are news, but we are also news in a pre season which has had NOTHING happen worth talking about other than a dire world cup. No ones spent any money, relatively speaking, but we have splashed another £100m+ on players. If you thought the media would just let it go and not nit-pick, you were very, very naive, as were all the other soft arses who can't accept a bad word said about us. Its doing my head in now on here, reading thread after thread of out and out paranoia. If it bothers you that much, march to the press box next Monday and ask the press themselves what their beef is.

I think city are making saggers ill, i'm being serious here. He sounds as though he could do himself some harm if he continues in this manner. Will someone send him the number of the samaritans asap.

Then you've got that other prick Gough,he's obsession is nothing more than sick, its every fuckin day, sounds thick as pig shit

It would be costing us millions if we had to pay for all this media attention, they, are giving us all this publicity for free.We are the hottest property in football at the moment and the world and his dog have got an opinion about us.

I think there's definately grounds for taking or at least threatening legal action on some stories.

Even if there isn't it's nigh on time for the club to start dishing out some retribution I think.

I agree 100% , what rankles me is that the standard of football reporting is so very poor in the mainstream. How on earth does someone like Tony Cascarino who can barely form a coherent sentence be introduced on sky as some kind of expert?
Sky who also give us amazing cricket coverage with world class analysis serve up this idiot.
Merson is another one , Talkshyte is their radio arm and my god it's infested with mediocraty.
Why is football so poorly represented?

Because they are commercial stations who get paid by the advertising revenue and the monet they get for people texting and phining in. The more outrageous they are and the more shite they talk the more people rise to it and so phone up thereby increasing their revenue.....simples!!!
