It's all part of the narrative they want to create, most true football fans I know look at the possibility of Liverpool winning the league with utter horror. not that they have anything really against the City of Liverpool, but because they know what will happen, the whole mawkish carnival will be unleashed on the footballing world, prose will be written, songs released, religious style pictures will be produced, the Liverpool TV Mafia will go on and on.

The premature triumphalism has been a good wake up call, as to what is being lined up for us.

As for the 2 bit radio station they are just thinking about the global appeal of Liverpool the same as the Rags, lots of weak minded glory seeking fans, all the the more to tune into their abomination of a station

Had a few pints on Saturday or Sunday and a big fuck off United fan who could snap me in half and obviously never got on with regards football put him arm round me, pointed his finger at my face and looked at me real serious like, then said 'now please win that fucking league'. He then laughed his head off because he knew I was shitting it.
