The opinions in that article are about 9 months out of date. Shocking "journalism" or shocking inability to change an errant first opinion or shocking lack of attention for the second half of last season, or all of the above.

He certainly didn't inspire confidence initially, but he put in good performance after good performance in the run-in and, like Barry before him, gets no credit because instead of being flashy, he just does his job. Teams that win things need players (especially back-up players) who can simply do their part, out of the limelight.

If Talksport can't see that, then it's their problem and explains why they didn't think we were going to win the league until we did.

Fair shout on Sinclair and Santa Cruz though...

they see it alright but that doesn't fit their agenda.
I'm waiting for the rag version, Chelsea even, I wont hold my breath. they are a disgrace to broadcasting.

At Hull last season, after Vinnie was sent off, Javi and Martin were outstanding at centre-back and either could have won MotM, were it not for the fantastic display by Merlin that day.

This entirely misses the point though - where is the list of Hull City FC transfer flops FFS !! ha ha ha
 
Ot defending talkshite here however last nights transfer tavern was all about everyones clubs worst and best signings.I turned it off when it started getting silly.
Just boycott the stn its so much easier.
