Listening figures up again apparently. Do they never go down?
It's just the same with inveterate gamblers. They only ever want to tell you about when they've won and how much. They always seem to forget to mention their losses.
That sounded like me from 5years ago GDM.....
It's not called 'Brokelads' for nowt fella.

Chelsea fans bleating like fuck about Lampard. Brilliant.

Now this baffles me.He gave them 13 years loyal and often brilliant service. They didn't want him and gave him a free transfer, after only using him sparingly last season. He goes to the States for one last payday, can't play there for a while and so we loan him here to keep him fit and use him if needed.Let it go you sad chavs.

On a long drive yesterday and flicking through the stations I had Talkshite on. I wasn't expecting to keep it on long but the non-stop incompetence and bollocks speak had me transfixed. The programme I was listening to was in the afternoon and was hosted, I think, by Nat Coombs with Martin 'Mad Dog' Allen as his guest.

Discussing Newcastle's best player last season they both immediately went for Remy. Then Allen chimed in with "There was that midfield player who was good. Central midfielder. You know. They sold him." Both ummed and aahed for a good 30 seconds before someone in the studio prompted Coombs. "Cabaye" he says as if he'd thought it up on his own.

Allen said he met Roberto Martinez some years ago at a Swansea reserve game in Port Talbot among the "coal mining factories". Er, no Martin, that would be the steelworks you thick fuck.

Talking about the new Championship season Coombs said "Any one of 12 or 13 teams could go up." Just the one then?

Discussing Northampton's manager who only arrived in January but dragged them off the bottom of the table to avoid relegation to the Conference, Allen said that he was a "Red Adair escape artist". Ignoring of course that Red Adair wasn't an escape artist. He extinguished oil well fires.

Then that buffoon Matt Scott helpfully advised us that next Sunday's Community Shield is between Manchester United and Arsenal. Nobody corrected him so I assume nobody noticed and that it was a Freudian slip.

I heard this shite yesterday and Martin Allen came over as a right bellend. At one point during a discussion on player discipline, I swear he implied that it was more difficult to manage players these days because parents and teachers aren't allowed to beat their kids.

Should be worth a listen from 7 tonight. Impartial reporter Danny Baker explaining why the signing of Lampard means that Manchester City will be operating from the USA within 10 years. The " alarm bells" are ringing apparently. I get the impression he's about to suggest we're ruining football !

I've never heard talksport talk badly about City, this is surely a first.

Do you mean that fat, stuttering, Spurs supporting, Danny Kelly?

Cue rag comments about searching for a crowd.

He was saying City would be based in the U.S.A within ten years. I don't actually mind Danny Kelly (used to love Under The Moon), but he is laughably wrong on this.

The more probable scenario is that the U.S league becomes bigger than the "Barclays Premier League" (copyright Owen Coyle), and New York become ADUG'S main focus.

I doubt that will happen either to be honest, but it's a lot more likely than the crap Kelly was spouting.

We all now why you use to like watching 'Under The Moon' it's for the same reasons we all watched it!

There's more logic in the argument that the rags could relocate themselves to the USA. American owners playing up the kind of audience they understand, and with a ready made fan base already well used to Chevrolet products. Perfect!

2 twats on now having a giant toss off on the rags, asking the dumb rag fans to phone in for...wait for it... CAN YOU WIN THE LEAGUE

It was very interesting to hear Darren Cambell on Hawksbe and Jacobs. They were talking about Rodwell and he mentioned that he helped him get through his medical at City.
He also doesn't think he will get over his injury problems, and blamed the way he trained as a kid. Developing and building muscle on bad technique was the phrase he used. Basically said because of that he will always break down with injuries. Not pleasant listening if you're a Sunderland fan.

Danny Kelly is a fat ****, always has been a ****, A when Saturday Comes ****, unfunny and basically a ****.

I am not over keen on the ****.
