Durham trolling again - 'City need a bigger and better manager than Pellegrini'.

Don't ring in.

Just tuned in for a laugh.

Durham: "A City fan has just contacted us to say that Pellegrini matched Mourinho's achievement in his first season by winning two trophies. Well, not really, as City has a ready-made team, with a history of winning the title; Chelsea didn't."

More blatant WUMmery.

I actually agree that Durham is good at what he does, but also agree that he could do much better for himself. He knows football inside-out and would make a very good presenter on 5Live, IMHO.

Durham is now dissing City's chances of success this season, claiming that Pellegrini is our weakness. According to this expert, we need a better manager to take us forward. I would have thought that a manager who won two trophies in his first season here was a better bet than a serial trophy winner who also won two trophies here, but in three and a half years with us.
To add to this, a fan has contacted the station to ask why Durham thinks Pellegrini is inferior to Mourinho and Durham has replied that City's success was already set in place with the squad and mentality at the club, whereas Chelsea were lacking in both. So a club that has very recently won the Champions League and the Europa League, and with players on the books signed by Mourinho in his first and successful spell didn't have, according to Durham, the know-how of how to win trophies!

The fact that you're on here commenting like this says to me you still don't understand the nature of the beast.
The station's sole aim is to generate revenue. This is achieved via Advertising and this is provided by audience figures. by keeping the audience baited keeps these figures high.

Whilst you are on the the hook and angry with their presenters/audience opinions, you are showing advertisers that you are engaged and thus listening.

Someone like Durham does not, I repeat does not have these views. He will come out with any old shit which he knows will piss you off.
The more you are baited - the more he can feed his wife and kids.

With the amount of abuse targeted towards City, this is clear evidence that their biggest audience is probably from fans of clubs who hate City (Utd/Arsenal) and also of City fans who want to listen to the station to maintain their anger.

Keep listening - I'm sure Durham appreciates your contributions to his mortgage payments.

Remember .... Unfortunately some men & women in this world have little choice to bring money in to put food on the table, other than to give up their bodies for the pleasure of others, then there are those at Talksport that are willing to give up all respect & dignity to say what they are told and tow the company line.

TS production meeting, you can just hear it now can't you?

United, Liverpool and Arsenal fans all wetting their knickers in anticipation of the shiny new season ahead with new improved manager, new deeper squad and new silverware behind them to fuel their expectations.

Let's talk them up at every opportunity, let's trail new signings, CL football and title ambitions. That'll keep the mugs listening right up to the transfer window closing and beyond.

City are a problem though. They're winning stuff and taking up a valuable CL spot that should go to one of our more worthy Ancien Regime sides. They're just Arab sugar daddy owned, boringly efficiently run, no-history upstarts. They don't even have legions of fans yet to sell vans and boilers to.

Chelsea's OK though. They've got Maureen, he's always good for a quote and lots of stars rock up in their directors box.

We don't hate City, we just have no use for them.
They're a stone in our shoe. A blister on our pricks.

wow! they had a scouser on before who was actually realistic. Tony Evans, Times footbal editor, who is a confessed Liverpool fan spoke sense even when confronted with questions about his beloved reds.
He was a good listen actually. He called it straight on Suarez and even talked DOWN liverpools title chances claiming a realistic target for them is top 4.

Contrary to popular opinion on here, Brazil has been deeply sceptical about van Gaal and United finishing in the top 4. This might be the remnants of his Moyes passion but either way he's one of the few talksport presenters who hasn't been in thrall to van Gaal. He also thinks City will win the league........

If City win on Sunday I'd rather listen to Perry Groves back-tracking on his firm conviction that Newcastle are certs for an upset because of City's 'poor attitude'.
