version two: despite all evidence to the contrary including a public funeral Bob Monkhouse wasn’t dead at all but was faking it and Gary Bushell was so stupid he was going to blow the whole elaborate plot by answering a question about it on national radio

I honestly despise Alan Brazil. Not for his views in football - I don’t care about them, everyone entitled to their opinion etc etc - but for the fact that he is exactly the sort of hypocrite that I cannot abide.

My best mate is a united fan and he regularly tells me of Brazils time at old Trafford. Laura Woods and Ally MccCoist were a good listen this morning. Lots of old-fashioned double entendres about Laura Woods' "back doors" which she's apparently having replaced. When she complained about the workmanship, MCoist said"that's one job I'd be meticulous over". Quite amusing and miles better than Brazil.
