In this window between lfc and utd being supportable/ successful Talksport are being quite complimentary about City Haaland (going to be the best ever) and KDB (Ballon door winner this year).

They'll be replaced by rashford and sancho once utd look like they're back on track. But for now quite complimentary in general.

That MP Ian Byrne on at the moment talking about the disgusting chants from rival fans about Hillsborough,bet they aren’t letting anyone on to put the record straight about what it really is all about ..

Yeah not surprised at all,the media as a whole need to be called out on the reason why they won’t call the red scousers out on their behaviour,it’s a one way street with these cnuts,why will the media not listen to what the majority of football fans have to say about it all ..

To be fair Jordan did say that they should be held accountable when a section of their fans sing/chant vile stuff,white was trying to interrupt him before finishing..

That's what at lot of people want Liverpool fans to be held accountable for what they sing and do.
Simon Jordan was asking why has the singing grown in the past few months when the Hillsborough happened so long ago.
I think you will find Liverpool fans booing the national anthem, singing lizzie in a box and pro IRA songs and pro Liverpool journalists blaming hysel on a run down stadium and not being called out for it is what has started a lot of this off. But the run crying at the first song they feel insulted by

Yeah Jordan was spot on about it whilst trying not to completely disrespect Liverpool. They sing "vile" songs as much as anyone - possibly more. They can't boo the national anthem, sing about the Queen dying and yet still be called impeccable. They sing about the Munich air crash too.

However, we did sing "the Sun was right" which is unacceptable. Plenty do still chant munich. We're not beyond criticism. Just because they bury their heads in the sand over Hillsborough and the media don't want to criticise them we can't justify some of our own fan's behaviour. Heysel songs will continue but the media are too scared to talk about Heysel because they know they'll get dragged into a legal battle or face a ban from Anfield over it and Liverpool are a big money maker for the media.

Exactly I'm with you about singing the sun was right.
But what a lot of fans seem to be singing now and have done for a while is the always the victims chant which they always relate to Hillsborough while everyone else will tell you it's about everything they get up to and blame everything apart from themselves

Great post. Many fans are in denial about hillsborough. The true causes are well known and have been well investigated. Heysel is very different

If Liverpool want vile chanting to stop then they need to do their bit and hold to account the significant minority of their fan base who are violent morons. They won’t do it though

I’ve still not heard one Dipper ever admitting to attending Hillsborough without a ticket, it’s what they did and still do.

What happened to those mainly young people that day was shocking and I’d never sing about it, “always the victims, never your fault” is fair game bearing in mind the countless examples of bad behaviour, manslaughter and attempted murder. The club are no better, defending racist behaviour, hacking our database and fiddling the books to pass FFP.
