I couldn't abide the non-stop childish chuckling throughout the programme when I used to listen. Don't listen to TS any more. It's tripe!

100% agree. One of those fuckers, no idea which one, just chuckled inanely throughout the whole programme (or about as much of it as I could manage to listen to). Also, too much shite and not enough sports. The fucking Clips of the Week must have been the unfunniest piece of radio I've ever heard........and I've listened to Sandy Toksvig on Radio4!
 
Excellent to know I have not missed anything in the two years since I switched that abomination of a radio station off. When are we going to start a thread to save our PEGs?
 
Gough just now; the most unbelievable result Celtic could have got is a draw. So, a win would have been more believable would it you thick...

That is why I don't listen - The contempt it shows the listeners by putting that sort of shite out day after day is, quite frankly, remarkable
 
Got in my brother's car straight after the game. He had Talkshite on, so I wanted to know how they thought we performed. This was the discussion, and I'm not making it up, on Champions League night after we'd won, and Leicester won on their first ever game:

1. Should we take the Europa League more seriously?
2. It's a route into the CL.
3. Rashford will light it up.
4. Should English teams playing in the Europa League get a guaranteed home game on the Sunday?
5. It would enhance our standing in football if our teams done better in it.

Couldn't believe it. Put GMR on.
 
Why is Gough on the radio in the first place? It's bad enough when thick ex footballers are on but why Gough?

I'm sure there are a lot of less-stupid Yorkshire men out there who could make more of a contribution than Darren Gough.

Tbh mate as much as I like to take the piss, they're not really any different to anyone else. The main difference is how much they love their county. They remind me of Americans in some respect. Everything here is bigger and better than everywhere else and nothing or no one will ever persuade them otherwise.
