Barclay is an epic cnut, who never passes up the opportunity to slag us. I'm genuinely astonished to read that he was saying anything complimentary about us. Must be some sort of Molotov/Ribbentrop thing going on, with a common enemy we don't know about.....

I remember Barclay once saying in 2008\09, that Randy Lerner's Villa would be more successful than us in the future as they have the superior business model / approach to running the club. Haha

That was the general theme accross the media at the time. Villa had the perfect owner whilst we were just a 'plaything'. I recon that was reinforced by most Villa fans phoning in or posting on the net as well, Everton fans too etc etc, they were all having an orgy of how City will crash & burn & how we are 'nothing' etc. My sympathy for Villa now, is prety much none existent as a result.

Most ironic thing thos morning on talkshite, who ever was on saying ot must be unsettling for our players and manager with the talk of pep coming in and not knowing who will be in charge next season, then said that pep should go united, is it not unsettling to there players and manager not knowing who will be in charge this season let alone next

I like Mike Parry and Mike Graham though.. legends the pair of them. Best thing about that station and yet they get the Graveyard shift.. WTF!?

I download the podcast every morning and on my way to work I listen to it.. or when I'm on the night shift I listen it keeps me sane. They talk so much sense and just like a pair of old geezers down the pub having some banter and general chit chat.

My view too.

However, it's worth noting that Barclay appeared to make it his job to tell everyone how wonderful O'Neill and Lerner were.

As for bitterness from fans, nothing matched the bile from Spurs fans.
