Although it won't be that match - I would hope all the games in play at that moment will be interrupted so that we football fans can join in and applaud such an incredible achievement by such a universally liked and respected player and role model.
One thing is for sure - it will be one of those events, that in years to come, we will all know where we were when history was made.

There has been great opportunity for youngsters and fringe players to get a chance in the league cup this week and there has been some great stories of potentially top class youth breaking through - especially at Liverpool .
On the other hand, mourinho has to be applauded for "taking the competition seriously " and playing as strong a team as possible.
It would seem to be difficult to brown-nose two clubs at the same time,if it means taking opposite views,(until you see who those clubs are) but the geniuses managed it with some style!
