The presenters obviously draw the 2 contrasting opinions out of a hat pre-show. It's just a shame that on this particular topic Gough drew out the City were professional angle meaning the far more articulate and intelligent presenter had the City were bullies option. As a result Durham was able to do the hatchet job we heard. It's absolutely nothing personal against City or any of the teams he criticises. It's just a way of generating engagement through conflicting opinions .
 
Durham is such an obvious wummer I am surprised any fan is stupid enough to call in. He doesnt even disguise the nonsense of taking up polar positions on subjects only a few days apart.

I like Higginbotham. For an ex rag, he usually pretty fair about us, when on as a pundit.
Usually quite good for all, tbh.

What he said was disgraceful
He basically implied a man with mental health issues was responsible for sorting himself out and only he could change it
He had no firm basis or evidence for what he was saying and implying.
His weasel words of how much he cares fool no one
He is same as all other presenters headlines over substance
Station gets worse by the day

Spot on particular with polar opposites. The red Spiegel nonsense the other week he defended us,as he does on FFP generally yet today he used the pumped up by a nation's wealth line.....professional wum and very good at it, why let facts get in the way of a good argument? (Thought the predictive text error was quite apt)
