I'm with those who say if you don't want to get annoyed then don't listen. Having said that I made the mistake of tuning in today in my car and just managed to catch the sports headlines which led with "Chelsea could go 8 points clear...", had a quick clip of Moanearino alluding to them being cheated at Villa Park last year and then wnet on to Southampton's game plus todays two big derbies. No mention of the champions.
Childish and pointless I know but I've sent them the following e-mail;
Hi,
I don't listen as much as I used to but in my car today couldn't resist tuning in for a bit of that incredible chemistry there is between Georgie Gingham and Micky Quinn.
I managed to catch the sports headlines and the news that Chelsea could go 8 points clear at the top today, assuming that they overcome goal shy Aston Villa (at a ground that Jose has never triumphed apparently). I was also interested to heat that Southampton would be hoping to take advantage of turmoil at QPR and that there were two big derbies today.
No mention of the champions, Manchester City so they are either not playing or you are assuming they will lose.
Fuck me if Georgie didn't trot out the old Chelsea could go 8 points clear line as well, Chelsea obviously having by far the easiest task in gaining three points today at a ground where their title challenge floundered last season.
You may have redressed the balance on subsequent news bulletins but I stopped listening to be honest. However, just in case you want any pointers might I suggest that you lead further sports bulletins up till 3 o clock with something like;
Champions Manchester City could close the gap on current leaders Chelsea today if they beat struggling Hull. Manager Manuel Pellegrini is quietly getting on with his job rather than generating headlines with sill, surly, paranoid nonsense in a clear parody of himself.
You may like to lead in to this with the immortal words "talk sport have been told" although I am neither an ex player or a second rate pundit so my opinion is not really news.
Should you need any other pointers as to your editorial direction I will be happy to help
regards you fools

Suffice to say after a few minutes of Georgie and Micky's electric banter I switched to xfm.
