Had to listen to talk sport 2 of late due to poor DAB reception where i live. I love it. More intelligent and less hyped. Detailed coverage of Cricket and the other 72 clubs. Even Gough sounds different (about 2 octaves lower, more restrained and less hyper). They cover and analyse any real stories from prem without the wind up.

I had to laugh at the news report earlier. "Stephen Hawking has been interred at Westminster Abbey alongside Sir Isaac Newton, who died last week aged 76". Total imbeciles.

and the woman on the news report kept saying that the match between Derby & Cardiff has been canceled - so those two teams will have played a game less at the end of the season?
 
Although it has its lighter moments especially when you hear orange Jordan try to tell us that Zaha is a better player than our very own Leroy, well it made me fucking laugh anyway.
 
But surely we all need to know every 5 minutes just where the best place is to get van insurance and which the best sellinng hot water cylinder is in the UK.
(I do not own a van or need a new hot water cylinder but get comfort from knowing where to go, as a City fan, courtesy of TS).
Always love how they NEVER actually manage to speak to a rag fan in Manchester or a Chelsea fan in Chelsea.
Just need to know where I can get van insurance cheap in case I should ever decide to purchase a van.

I wouldn't classify Hawking or Newton as imbeciles, that's a bit harsh

Oh c'mon it is surely the pinnacle of sports journalism - particularly with the boiled b*llock show asking every day whether anyone actually thinks the rags can win a trophy this season. Even the 1 season flop has got rather despondent - a good 5 min rant from him would turn a lot of heads. I on the other hand am happy for him to continue as is. City popularity does not need to rise in uk and will not for a few years.
