Talksport

All the cliches coming out on talkshite this morning !!

Haha Yes. Who do think they want to win? There will be much gnashing of teeth and weeping tomorrow. Hopefully Quinn is on. I will enjoy his pain.

I think it was on Sunday but did anyone hear the feature on kinkladze? I was only a boy when he played for us so although I remember how good he was, not really aware of much of his background. Apparently he turned down offers from huge European clubs in order to stay with us when we were relegated.

They also reckoned that fans in that era would have him down in their all time city XI. He wouldn't get in this midfield so how could he get in an all time XI. And that's not including Colin bell

He was head and shoulders above all our other players at the time which worked against us, he'd be given the ball and countless times our other outfield players would either stop and watch him or have no idea where to move to.

With respect to the rest of the team he was a wasted talent at City, strangely he did very little elsewhere ie Ajax and latterly Derby.

Would he get into our current team no but a young Ali B would have (he'd tell players where to go while controlling the game).

ahh - a Jock bigging up Liverpools chances brings the GPC and the rags into his story.............is there ever a more perfect caller?

Decided to have a listen this morning for the first time in ages. First caller I heard was a rag wanting Liverpool to win and then went on to say how much he hates us. "Plastic club, Arab plaything" etc.

But they don't care about us apparently.

The only reason he wouldn't get in our current team, is workrate.

If Pep could have a 21 year old Kinkladze, working as hard as Silva & DeBruyne, he would basically have Lionel Messi.

He would play in Sterlings position, cutting in from the right, kind of like Bernardo does now. He would be untouchable in this team with all the space created by others.

Then the w@nker that is Simon Jordan called the show to say he endorsed the rags call.

currently on about the fact that clubs have spent £211m on agents fees in the last year - curiously steering clear of who exactly has been paying the most...........

Somehow the rags have managed to avoid topping that list.

No idea what kind of underhand stunt they have used to pull that one off. Raiola alone must be topping that lot.
