When our illustrious owner took over, they all laughed at our lack of success and cited us as the perfect example of how money does not buy success.
They are not laughing now are they, everyone knows that FFP was designed specifically to stop small fry from crashing the big guns party and its largely worked, not completely though .... Once FFP goes away there will be another similar initiative and another after that. The rags and dippers are bitter but the most bile is coming from Spain which is actually fucking hilarious considering what they have been doing at RM & Barca for nigh on 50 years ...

I don’t listen often these days but it’s better to know what the enemy is thinking. Also yesterday Salako said City can’t be a big club because they don’t sell out their Champions League nights like Chelsea do. Is that the came Chelsea that has a capacity of 40k and regularly failed to sell out on CL nights?

yes, FFP was, and always will be, 'keep the 1960's+ big boys happy'.
FPP could have been created to stop the Parma's, Leeds, Portsmouth's from happening, but it wasn't, and had nothing to do with 'Financial' or 'Fair'.
If someone wants to invest in a football club, fine, let them, after some due diligence, backed up with finanical guarantees of backing.
If they want to make a loss, fine, within a 5-10 year time frame.
FFP - should be more to do with the fair spread of incoming money, fair cup competitions, fair support of football from the bottom level upwards.

All we get is this frenzied faked outrage into our alleged circumventing of FFP rules. No debate into why FFP was imposed and who was really behind it.
I'm sure FlashJordan wouldn't want his spending curtailed unless of course there was a bigger fish in his pool upsetting the waters.
It's a policy of jealousy as is this witch hunt.
The lack of analytical debate into the murky old boys lobbying for FFP shows what we are up against unfortunately.
Would love City to give a fking good press conference about all of this. Lift the lid off the farce and the injustice once and for all.
It won't happen of course, so expect more of the same everytime we spend or are successful.
