Talksport

Some brain power there !!!!

Never listen to talksport myself and I'm glad of it.

The most irritating part of the clip was, when he collected himself halfway through. After realising his giddiness was too visible, he smugly said:

"Now, I'm not knocking Manchester City here" - Well rescued there Bob, we might have been onto you otherwise. ;)

Then his mate sat next to him, starts chuckling and remarked "I'm just laughing Bob" - As if to say, this is brilliant radio this Bob? What a wankstain.

Looking at the comments on that tweet, he's got absolutely slated, if the comments are always like that; does he ever stop to wonder if his whole attitude towards City is wrong and most of his beliefs about the club?

They've pulled that from Transfermarkt:
https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/raheem-sterling/transfers/spieler/134425

That's the extent of their research isn't it, 2mins on google?

I'm not sure how that site has managed to get that wrong, it's the one thing you'd expect them to get right. "You had one job!"

It rose to £49m last year, after all the clauses were triggered.

I might be wrong, but the impression I have is that trasnfermarkt records transfers in euros. Changes in the exchange rate means that the corresponding dynamic £ value has gone up.

If the tommy doc batterers are still knocking about. It would be great if they bumped into that fat fuck Bob mills.

They have a separate .com site for the Euros.

https://www.transfermarkt.com/raheem-sterling/profil/spieler/134425

€63.7m is the fee they have there.

Misunderstanding here, I think.

Initial fee was 45M pounds.
Exchange rate on 24/7/2015 about 1.41. £45M therefore was €63.5M (at that rate). (near enough €63.7M)

Exchange rate now is 1.11 (average bank exchange). €63.5M now is £57M.

Allowing for them using slightly different rates, the two figures states are (1)euros at time of purchase and (2)current sterling value of those euros.
The website is dynamic for costs, so the 57M will change as time goes on (the €63.5M won't).
