Talksport

I listened to talksport on the way into work this morning (around 5am) and they were discussing the cup final, slagging off kepa etc. (quite rightly)

Ben Thatcher, one of their sports 'experts' [emoji23] said twice that Hazard had a perfectly good goal disallowed to deny Chelsea the win.

Now, I know I'm getting old and I may have missed it on one of my many pee breaks, but the only time the net was found during the game (outside of penalties!) was when Aguero scored and VAR deemed it to be offside.

Did I miss something? I've googled it and can see no reference to it I'm perplexed...

Me too, I got in my car at 5am, heard this clown but thought " I must have missed that".
Amazing radio!

Heard a Chelsea fan about 20 mins ago , "City they for the taking" , Chelsea better team" , "Why did the lineman flag Hazard offside" (and no Hazard didn't have any goal ruled out for offside, he was just offside) ! Jimmy White agreeing with "yes ,yes, yes"
Well if you look at the stats, I would say it's hard to win games when you don't have at least 1 shot on target !
Chelsea 7 shots 0 on target .
City 13 with only 3 on target .

Maybe he was out with Brazil last night.

Wasn’t the one Ed tipped over on target?

Or did I just imagine that?

Amazing to think how many Chelsea fans thought they played well.
City were there for the taking but not by a team with 39% of possession,7 attempts and none on target and 4 corners.
Every caller making them to be unlucky.
Far from it.Okay an improvement from recent weeks but that's all.

Sorry mate can't remember it , but stats show Chelsea = shots on target 0 . So it may of been going over anyway . It wasn't the best of games with Chelsea seeming too park the bus and hit us on the break, but on chances and presession we still deserved the win

I fully agree. Chelsea didn’t really have a go until about 70 minutes, but we were in control for the vast majority of the time.

I suppose when you have lost the last two away games 4-0 and 6-0 it is an improvement. They worked hard, were tough/dirty and carried a threat on the break with Hazard but they far from deserved to win. Aguero's goal should have stood and if he would have passed the ball to Sterling when we broke it would probably have been over before penalties.

Agree it was going over Eddie just making sure Ithink

I had a pretty good view of that (Club Wembley) and I thought it was going in. Maybe it was hitting the bar? That said, I thought at the time it was pretty routine as saves go, but when I watched the game again last night it seemed a better save than I thought in real time.

Just heard another Chelsea on talksport saying they played well in the second half and could of won it ! Yes only takes one goal to win , but we were the that had the chances, and how did that scramble at the end of a Stirling run not finish in the net ?
Ps Adrian Durham just mentioned the Aguero offside goal , and said he wasn't convinced it was offside . First person I've heard mention it !

Durham going to get bites shortly.
Putting forward a suggestion that Raheems penalty is the goal of the season so far.
Sits back and gets ready for a laugh.
What was Jacobs take on the game.

He wasn't in. On holiday. Shame, would have been good to hear his take on it.
