Talksport

Pissed myself laughing at this station today - got in the car and put it on, on my way to work as I left at 8am (1pm UK time).

The news came on and the ever so serious newsreader declared
“There’s been a big development in the BBC Match of the Day presenter issue”.

I was hooked by the announcement and turned the volume up - was the new presenter being announced, was Linekar staying, was the programme being axed?

No. The presenter went on to state that Talk Sport’s co-presenter and some time MOTD pundit Danny Murphy had “ruled himself out” of presenting the show.

I gave a little laugh and shake of the head, switched to Spotify and put The Smiths on instead.
Not much of an improvement tbh……

Sublime to the ridiculous.

What Difference Does It Make?

Strangeways, here we come.

A south coast born, plastic, cry arse rag, the worst of the species.
In the early 90s I got seconded to one of our other businesses in Norwich for a few months. Decent enough people, most of which were Norridge fans (if they were interested in football). Anyway, there was this one guy, a middle manager that was a rag - he said he was a united fan because he was born near Wembley and that was united's second home, he was pleased that united had a good record over City at the time but didn't count the 5-1 hammering as there was trouble at the game which nullified the result(?)
As time went by I noticed that he used to wind the Norwich lads up when united beat them or if united had had a good result - not one of them would say anything back so I asked one of them why - the answer I got was he basically give them a bollocking and found some other area of their work to report if they wound him up about united's bad result - An absolute **** of a man, I just wish I'd have been there during this era of City.

He sounds a right shit house.
Probably bullied at school and hangs around in big groups with fellow wankers at weekend wearing black looking for pensioners, families or kids to sing nursery rhymes to.

I hate him more each day and I haven't seen him for over 30 years!
I can see why.
There are a few Rag twats I used to work with back in the day that I'd love to bump into now.
They'd probably say they're not interested in football anymore as there's too much money involved without a hint or irony or self awareness.
This wanker you're talking about would probably be the same but it warms my heart knowing that our success us killing them inside.

There are a few I used to see in my local, when I lived in Cornwall, that I’d like to see nowadays.

They were typical of your glory-hunting rag.

The common denominator is that they're all glory hunting gobshites who love to give it the big un but crawl back under their rocks when it isn't going their way.
