Agreed! A boorish dinosaur, all time freeloader and name dropper. I remember seeing him slumped over a car park fence at the end of one Cheltenham day. It took 4 or 5 of his hangers on to get him into the mini bus. Not a pretty sight!

Patients have to do a specified time of at least 6 months without a drink before being considered as a candidate. A friend of mine nearly died of liver failure last year, he was very lucky to live, he has cirrhosis but he’s got a little functionally that’s working so far.

He has to stick to a strict diets, very low salt and only around 2 pints of fluid a a day due to his ascities which is a a knock on effect of ascities.

The treatment and illness from seeing what my mate has gone through is horrendous.

But I think the way they have made a joke of Brazil not turning up when he's at Cheltenham is a bit ridiculous when he's a paid employee and clearly has an issue. They should be refusing to allow him to be at Cheltenham. They've sacked him before but had calls for his return so reneged. They shouldn't be prioritising listening figures and money over his conduct or health and wellbeing.

He’s not an employee, he only got paid for his freelance work.

Bet there were more deserving people of a liver as well, that boiled bollock has had a lucky escape, it didn’t take a genius to see were he was headed with his drinking.

Especially from the starting point of being a professional athlete - the fact he allowed himself to degenerate into that state is absolutely pathetic
